After the Seventh race all four of these men realize they have
had a bad day at the track. For me one scenario they could
represent would be some of the different ways we all react to failure. The man in the pink shirt
seems to be on the brink of arguing with fate, as though he's
saying, "There must be some mistake." Being realistic, the two
men in the center are trying to find out where they went wrong so
they can fix it next time, and the man on the end has completely
given up because he has lost it all.
